I have always gutted the back half of the car never the hole thing. I stripped everything possible. I already got all the big chunks of sound deadining stuff off with dry ice but taking off certain parts i couldnt get with the ice is a bitch.

right now im using a heat gun and scraping it off. Im just losing pacients... anyone have a faster way? also what kind of sanding have u done and what did u use to get the sticky shit off the doors?

its going to rain this week so im trying to get it done asap :hsdance:
here is what i have done so far

someone on nico club said to:

"soak an old rag in some paint thinner and the leftover tar crap should just wipe right off it might take a little elbow grease but the paint thinner dissolves the leftovers "

when i did this to my 13 in japan, we filled the floor pan with about a half inch of kerosene the next day we pulled up those little plugs behind/under the seats and let it drain out as we wiped the tar leftovers up with a rag, came up super easy

keroseen, goof off, paint thinner, something corrosive to paint but not to metal. goof off is really good for tar
