240sx window problems

Well i just bought another 89 240 for $500. Its in pretty good shape but there is one thing i will tell you the story. I go to the guys house everythings works. I start the car up and the windows roll down and up. I drive it to my house and roll the windows down in the garag. About an hour later i come back out to the garage to clean it and i tried to roll the windows down and i cant now. the buzzer also doesnt work. Im guessing its a short or something but if you guys could help me out thats would be great. Thanks in advance

i know it may sound stupid, but start your car up and giving your door panel a good smack then try and roll it down. if it works there is something wrong with your window amp... or was it the motor. i cant remember off the top of my head which one it is

the door bell thing. lol the bell that goes off when the key is in the ignition

have you checked if its plugged in?? alot of people unplug it or take it out cuz its annoying

no it was working until i drove it to my garage.

Does the car still start? If the doorbell stops working usually that happens when the battery dies. Check your battery. Sounds like maybe something might be draining your battery?

the battery looks brand new but the positive terminal is broken but is still on it. i will put a new terminal on tomorrow and see what happens. But i was playing around with it today and as soon as i reved the motor a little bit it started to work. Btw the power windows,mirrors and tach stop working.
