ok here is what happened, i was following behind an suv and we were slowing down. i was in second gear just letting the car sow itself down. i glanced to the right for a sec, look back and the suv had stopped. so i hit the brakes and swerved to the left. my right side went under his bumper and then popped out. heres the damage:

im pretty sure that this cant be fixed. so i started looking for another 240. luckily i found one in better condition an hour away. but i just wanted to see if you guys had any suggestions besides parting it out...

It just looks like a fender, hood, light cover and bumper. Might need some frame work up near the battery tray to make it true again. Definately fixable, but the problem lies herein. If the damage to your car is over 75% of the value of it, the insurance company may total it if they wish. Just wait and see what the insurance company has to say though.

oww.. you're 240 looked pretty clean b/s that fender bender damage. it looks fixable liek joe m said. is it worth it? it depends on how much it cost. if it was $200 then maybe. if it more than $500 i would probably get the nwer 240. actually, your bumper looks ok. you might only need a fender, hood, and light.

the rail that holds the fender doesn't look seriously bent. you could bend it back but if i'm wrong and it is really bent, it might affect handling.

That is about 1500+ worth of work for a body shop to fix that they have to put it on the frame rack.
