1973 Datsun 240Z. Running, but tranny needs work. I would recommend
towing but you could drive her home, just can't shift at a complete
stop (gotta shift into first while stopping) and has trouble shifting
from the clutch not releasing all the way. I installed a new clutch and pressure plate in April and it recently started this problem. Painted flat black. Will
include two sets of wheels (centerlines and I'm not sure what the
other ones are but have seen em on some Zs).
+stock L24 with unknown miles
+carbs are the earlier, favorable round SUs not the flat tops
+headers and 2.5 inch straight pipe to a turbo muffler and new intake/exhaust manifold gasket
+new clutch and pressure plate
+sitting on eibach lowering springs
+new stock shocks
+new points and condenser
+mechanical fuel pump replaced with electric fuel pump operated by a switch
+new ignition coil also with a switch and new external resistor
+new thermostat (temp sending unit and the gaskets also replaced)
+new sending unit in the gas tank. gas tank has been coated with
plastic inside and out from gas-renu with lifetime warranty included
+new starter. operated on a switch (key is for the guages)
+new clutch master and slave cylinder
+rebuilt brake master cylinder
+smog exempt
+body is clean with very minor dings and has a front lip. I'll include
the stock front bumper if you want it. The lip is flexible so it won't
be damaged from dips.
+current registration
-tranny/clutch needs work (not releasing all the way, you'll need to
open the tranny up, clutch adjustment doesn't affect it)
-interior needs work (cracked dash, rusty floorpan, one window handle
for both windows, torn up drivers seat)
-driver side door handle broke recently so you need to open the car
from the inside or passenger side.
-speedometer and tach don't work (the amp, fuel, temp, and oil pressure guages all work)
-the only thing that leaks is the differential and I just filled it up
-reverse lights not hooked up (on the tranny)
I'm looking to trade for a running 240sx with no major mechanical problems,OPEN TO TRADES RWD ONLY, BUY OUT PRICE 3,000$$$!!!!!
