Has anyone had any experience with these? I need some new tires for my daily driver. Right now I have Hankook Ventus 225/45/17 on my falken hanabi 17 X 7.5.
Any other suggestions for decent cheap tires to last another year would be appreciated.

I forgot to even mention anything about the snow/rain. Winters in my area can be a pain in the ass and I have a feeling that we are going to get nailed with bad weather this year.

i see you live in PA, do you want a summer tire anyways?
if so, ive had good experiences with the Sumitomos (HTR Z, HTR Z II, and HTR H4s) and Dunlop Direzzas as far as cheaper tires, although the Direzza Sport Z1's are a bit more pricey
-edit-
you answered my first question ... you probably want a less performance-oriented tire for the winter, and get something a bit nicer when the late spring rolls around

HTR ZII definitely not a summer tire... it doesn't handle well and sidewalls really suck...
For a winter tire, I heard Kumho ASX's aren't bad.... and not too expensive

I'd just drive around on my crap bald tires but to pass PA inspection you can't be rollin' on tires with belts and chunks taken out :nono:

LOL, PA does suck for tint violations! That is why I don't have any tint on the driver and passenger side windows.
I hate being cheap on something like DD tires and since the winter is going to suck I should get something that will give me good grip. I did pretty well last year (first with the 2 way KAAZ) but i have a shitty feeling it's going to be worse this year with snow.
I've drifted on a few sets.
But yeah, TireRack and any Peer-Reviewed sites are great for doing research.
