3" makes it breath better.

I like 2.25"/2.5" because its nice and tight. Responsive as shit.

You'll gain HP, and Torque... its been proven time, and time again since way back. Basically 3" is the way to go unless you need the car to be quiet.

are you definite?

If you go with three inch on your ka you will loose back pressure "velocity" meaning less torque on the contrary you will gain high end power now to get both this is what I would do if I where you. From the cat to the rear axle I would get 2.5 then from the axle back I would get 2.3 its called staged piping and what it does is it forces big amounts of exhuast gas into a smaller hole creating much more back pressure and seeing how you are N/A this will only benifit you. Have a good day and make good choices =]

You need to worry about scavenging, not so much backpressure. This issue has been discussed a billion and a half times though, just search.

no. it has been proven through dyno sheets in past threads that 3" will net you a gain in horsepower AND torque.

I don't know three inch just seems like over kill on a Stock KA

Nothing is overkill if it works.

It's been proven for well over a decade the KA likes to breath. Even before the internet people were comparing exhaust combinations and getting better results with the larger piping and since then there's been tons of results, dyno proven, agreeing with that all over web boards. Talking out of your ass about backpressure theories is what makes people assume differently. They're wrong.

The only downside to larger piping is more noise.

Go with 3", it has been proven over and over on the KA for years now.

Alright after being proven wrong I take back what I said and you should go with three inch There is no arguing with proof.

heres my thread

"Backpressure" is a myth:

3" as soon and for as far as possible, resonated test pipe if you can get away with it where you live. It will be louder than all holy hell, but I live in NC.

As most have said now...3inch sir. For as long as possible. I run 3 inch off the 4-1 header i have then to a Magnaflow inline "muffler" then to my blast pipes (thanks Logan!!). Kinda ridiculous on a long drive....buy a daily car (Volvo 240 FTW!!) and solve that problem :)
