Nope, like he said it's a JGTC SR20DE.

Do they make power claims for that SR20DE? SR20DE.net had pics up of a touring car SR20DE that made 300hp, naturally aspirated. That's one tasty N/A engine... dry sump oiling!

Interesting also that the JGTC SR20DET uses the S14/S15 low-port VCT cylinder head.

300hp NA SR20DE would be sweet. But anyway, That's the low port head? That head doesn't have a hump on the back of it like the rest of them.

That's because it has a custom billet valve cover. The hump is in the valve cover of the low port, not in the head itself. FWD cars have the low port head with a flat valve cover...

You can tell it's an S14/15 head because it has the VCT actuator on the nose of the intake cam.

I'd rather have the Tomei 2.2 Derive

why is a 2.2 still called a SR20? it's not a SR22? sorry if it's a stupid question, i'll try to answer it myself, because they took a sr20 and bore'd it out/reinforced it's internals and such? and now it has a greater displacment? yet, it was originally an SR20, so it will always be so?

as with the tomei 2.2 stroker kit, i think jspec carries them. it's expensive though, upwards of $5000. i dont think it is bored over more, the stroke is just higher so more displacement is created. meaning the pistons travel down further to create more displacement.

david most of them go to DFI or Haltech for their computers.

Notice that the Toda 2.2L SR20DET does not have a CAS, but a crank trigger wheel instead. It's designed for a standalone computer a la Haltech. I'm sorry, but the toothed belts/pulleys are just DEAD sexy. And I want that valve cover.

Expensive, but can be gotten. Where on earth are you getting this price? The stroker kit (crank, pistons, rods) alone is more than that.
