I'll say sorry now for the initial lack of info.
It's gonna be short too.
Girls at work.
Calls and says while at lunch, the car(89 s13 sohc ka24e) starts to let out a loud single "click" when the clutch pedal is pushed.
She compares the click to a rock hitting a windshiel on the freeway(without the shattering part).
It sems to be at about 3/4 way to the floor.
Does not seem to effect the shifting or drive of the car.
She says she feels a slight "twitch" in the pedal at the point of sound.
Back at work, car makes the same click even when not running.
Had my sister press the clutch while she observed the engine bay.
Says it sounds like its coming from the bottom passenger side of the brake-booster.
Also checked inside under dash and found nothing broken or out of place.
All fluids are at full levels.
Car has previously been running "great".
Clutchmaster and slave are about 6 months old.
Shes pretty into cars, so she knows what to look for and where.
So, any ideas?
Why would the sound come from the bottom-right of the brake-booster?
I'm due to work in a matter of minutes.
She'll be checking this thread before heading home, so any ideas or advice would help.
I wont get to see the car till tommorow morning, but hopefully this can help get a jump on the stuation.
Do you believe car is safe to drive home(about 10 blocks)?
My sister would be following her.
