Valves Making noise on intake side

I have a 1990 240sx coupe with a ka24de Motor (Dual Overhead Cam) and its been ticking for a while i know its the valve how easy are they to adjust and will it fix my problem? I have yet to find someone that can give me a start answer, i did search and found nada.

you need to pull the valve cover and inspect your cam lobe to shim clearances. Also inspect valve lifter(bucket) for wear. Be sure to have your cams in the correct position when checking clearances. Refer to a manual if possible.

Specs follow:

INTAKE
0.012 - 0.015in / 0.31 - 0.39mm

EXHAUST
0.013 - 0.016in / 0.33 - 0.41mm

If your valve(s) is truly bad, bent or just not seating well, your head must be rebuilt with valve job performed.
