The flyers will be tough if their goaltending can keep up, they look good so far. The Pens/Rangers game was pretty good last night. It'll be exciting to see Gaborik all year playing that well (if he stays healthy). I think the Atlantic division will be super tight; Pens, Devils, Rangers, and Flyers are all good (sorry Islanders, not yet).

I went to the Ducks/Leafs game last night.
It couldn't have been any more wonderful!!!

The Leafs finally won.
They wooped the shit out of the Ducks.
There were a TON of Leafs fans in the building, which added to the great atmosphere.

Watched the warm ups right at the glass, then watched the game up top.
So many Ducks fans just started leaving after it was 6-2.




I'm going to the Canucks/Kings game on Thursday. Hopefully they whoop on the Kings.

Scoring is up this year because they have been putting a lot of strict lame rules on goalie equipment this year. Pads can only be 11" wide. Inner thingh gards and knee protectors have to be 1.5" thick no more, and attached to the pad so they are not visible from the front. Pants and chest pads have to be in proportion to the goalies body as well as jersey can be no bigger than a size 60. Catch gloves can only be 45" in circumfrence and 11" in diameter at widest point. This lets a lot more puckes get through

The style of the jersey and the color of the Orange are different from their normal away jerseys, Orange seems, as if it is a bit lighter.

Also it has the black nameplate on the back. Which oddly was never a feature on any Flyer throwback jersey.

Here is my take on it. If the Canucks can stop getting in the penalty box, we should be fine. Everytime the Kings get a man advantage, we're fucked.

OT: I took a BOMB of a shot off my facemask in pickup hockey today. Some of the minor league guys came out, their shots were crazy.
