im not sure if i really wanna do this. so im just going to see how much interest there is.

i have a 1992 nissan 240sx auto with a little over 75k on the ka motor.
the car is running fine right now, with just a tiny exhaust leak and doesnt throw any codes runs great. no rust, the only thing thats wrong is the hatch has had the tail light removed and i no longer have it.

but the motor i have for it is a vq series motor out of my 2008 nissan frontier.
all the vq motors are the same with different strokes. instead of the vq35 mine has more displacement and it makes more low end torque.

i have the motor with under 30k miles that i took out of my truck to put a v8 in it. the motor is brand new and runs perfect. i have a an auto trans, ecu, engine harness, and all accessories. everything you need to make the swap cept some fab work.

ive seen this swap done a few times. and after its done the car is capable of mid to low 12s, while still getting over 30mpg.

let me know if anyone is interested, i dont really have an asking price worked out. i wanna say somewhere around 6.5k? the motor and trans with all the stuff alone is worth that with how new it is.

hmm, idk i might but i would rather sell as a whole. moving the motor and trans by itself will be kinda hard. or i will do the swap myself. everything has a price.

You can buy a swapped 240 with way more power than that vq would put out stock for the same price.

You might wanna lower your price a bit.

price isnt firm, and i wanna trade more than i wanna sell. no one has money these days.

but im sorry you dont know the world of vq, the motor and trans with everything that im including is is worth 6.5 easy. minus the car.
and with it being a 2008 motor and trans, with under 30k.

found a killer thread for info on this swap.

the motor is aluminum and weighs around HALF the weight of an rb swap and making about 100hp more and 80lbs of torque more. vq is N/A instant power, no waiting on boost.

the swap is said to cost around 13k and im knocking out a little under 11k with all the parts and the car.
