I was looking under my car the other day.. Although its been oilsprayed every year theres a seam where the rocker panels meet the floor, under the car about 4 inches inward I guess, where its starting to rust. I hate rocker panel rust, on my old car i kicked a hole on them getting snow off my boot. I like my dads honda, with no rocker panel but that plastic guard instead....What an idea!
So I want some kind of plastic "sideskirt" that will protect the bottom of the rockerpanel and that seam from sand and whatnot spraying onto the rockerpanel, causing it to rust and ding and whatnot, and that seam too.
What would anyone reccommend to fix this problem??
Considerations:
-will a side skirt fold under enough to cover that seam? (IE I would have it covered and grease the hell out of it)
-can I get some that dont look too aggressive? I dont plan to get a body kit or modify it in any way
-how do they install?
