Earlier today a friend of mine was reading the instructions on the permatex rtv (ultra black if it matters lol) and it stated "Gasket Maker cures on exposure to moisture in the air." Well i was thinking, i used a small amount on a block off plate for the IACV on my intake manifold and then placed the manifold back into the plastic bag that it came in. The bag is closed but im not sure if its 100% sealed but anyways we started talking about this and now im wondering if it would dry even if its sealed in a plastic bag hahaha. This may be the DUMBEST question ever on here but at least our argument will be settled haha.:duh:

hahahaha. Unless you vaccume sealed the bag, i would think there is enough air in there to let it dry
