center pulley not turning

Hi,

on my 97 240sx ka, the power steering belt snapped today and i replaced it shortly after, but i notice right away that the new one was going to melt and break as well. the center pulley seems to be locked. i drove the car 5 feet just fine but not sure what i should do next.

what do you mean center pully?
You talking about the Water pump or the power steering pump?

regardless if you cannot spin the pully by hand then you need to replace the pump

Your post is absolutely fucking stupid.

The power steering pump shares it's belt with the water pump, so if something is seized it's the water pump, which means it needs replacing. It's called common fucking sense.
