my drivers side headlight sometimes turn on and off when im driving. it'll just turn off for the longest time and then it'll turn on say 30 minutes later.

i don't know what could be causing this, maybe a broken bulb? but, i figured if it's a broken bulb wouldn't it just stay off all the time? so, i think it's something else, but, not sure what.

help is greatly appreciated or point me in the right direction.

looked around but found nothing so.

well my car isn't slammed but it is lowered not sure if the wires are worn because of the wheel rubbing on it, but, it never really rubbed to begin with so i don't think that could be it. what would i be looking for if it was rubbing btw? like would i know it's been rubbing or something.

Sounds like you've rubbed through the harness...

Your harness runs along the top of the driver side front wheel well. Look toward the back of the wheel well where it enters the car. That's where it hangs the lowest. If not there, just look along the entire loom of wires to make sure its not rubbing at all. The wires are loomed together with a plastic covering, so if you've rubbed through that, it'll be really obvious. Hope that helps!

If it is stock. The ground can slide off the projector frame. The clip can also wiggle off the bulb if not installed fully. Pop the cap off and tug on both the wires.

Then that's definitely the first place to look. If you haven't even checked the simple things yet, why bother making a post? Go remove the cap on the light, check it thoroughly.

ok the ground wires are tight and so it turns out it is just a light bulb that needs to be changed. apparently if the metal looks kinda like a rainbow color and the little wire thing looks a little "uncontinuous" it just means your bulb is gone! good learning experience.

thanks guys
