I'm selling my PSP on Zilvia, Craigslist and Facebook.
This guy saw my post on Facebook and
wanted to buy it with a cashiers check at first.
I told him either Paypal or no dice.
He said OK, and this is what I got.
Of course I know I know how Paypal works,
but this guy keeps playing along.
I said I would send the PSP when the payment clears.
Last thin he said was OK.
This is the "Paypal" notification.

nice business etiquette, good thing you dont run your own shop.
you've listed the guys info and he didnt scam you (yet). not saying it cant happen, or wont happen.. but so far, the funds are in your account.
now you chose to use paypal, which that alone is stupid. should have accepted a wire payment. now, you have no choice other than to wait what... 45 days for it to *clear* and even that is questionable.
you can take the risk of shipping the product, but personally... i wouldnt have accepted paypal. now you did. and now, you need to ship him his product. otherwise, YOU sir, are the scammer.

I thought the OP meant that the email was fraudulent. He has no pending payment when he logs onto his paypal, right? That email doesn't even look real, mine never say "dear customer," they say "Hello Ryan"

That page doesnt look like authentic paypal email. Also, I wouldnt care what the buyer says. If that payment doesnt show up under your activity in paypal than dont ship anything. If the buyer has a problem with that, tell him it's his problem to straighten out, not yours!

The guy is in Malaysia, supposedly.
I would not want to bother with the shipping even if he was a legitimate buyer.

Make sure you wrap it up neatly and so that it doens't smell to bad. Like in a tupperware, but make sure that said shitbox must be handled with the hands to make sure it has the desired effect.

My friend sells a lot of stuff on ebay and gets emails like this all the time.
It's Fake.
Whenever you get a payment. Never click on any links in it. Log into paypal directly. If there is no money in your account. It is fake.

I would line the bottom and sides of the box with saran wrap, and just make sure you tape the shit out of the box. Tupperware is too expensive lol, and not to mention he could just throw it all away. Just tape up every seam of the box well (on the inside, too), and make sure the box is full to the top.

Okay okokkokokok....................
I usually try to have some self-control when it comes to stupidity, but come on Columbo... why the FUCK are you sharing with us YOUR EMAIL.
I mean dude, its one thing to ask advice about things that are confusing.
YOU JUST RECEIVED A FUCKING SPOOF email, and you need a forum of people to help you realize that its fake?
I didnt read through the small text in the image you linked to, because I just assumed you had logged into your paypal account and was showing us what you would see. I didnt realize you were showing us a spoof e-mail. I mean for fucks sake, I could send you a spoof e-mail that says you have 1.2 billion in your account. Are you going to make a thread and ask advice, then wait for it to clear?
seriously, if you cant figure things like this out then you shouldnt be conducting business on the internets. fucking shite

Well, obviously i don't need to super size my letters to make a point.
But the title on the thread says,
Anyone get buyers like this?
I don't sell much stuff online outside of
Zilvia or CL, so I don't deal with those types of emails.
If you don't have anything useful to post, don't post.
Use that spare time you have working on LED lights and whatnot.
