I was curious to know if the 450cc DSM injectors would work on the SR20DET? Also i know the 2G DSM's have the T-25's which i am assuming are the same as the T-25s that come on the SR, so my question is would the 14B and 16G bolt right up to the manifold like on the DSM and still bolt onto the Downpipe and such, i know for the 14B to work on 2G it takes a kit, so if i had to make my own i am not worried i was just curious if the turbo would fit and not hit anything, because it could be some pretty cheap hoarsepower. If anyone knows anything lemme know. Thanx.
the injectors from the DSMs will not work because they are a top feed injector and the SR ones are side feed. You might be able to make them work with a different fuel rail.
Second the T25s from the DSMs have a mitsubishi style turbine inlet and outlet. the SR is T2 flange. They are not the same. Won't fit.

Ok thanks for clarifying that stuff for me. On another note, has anyone heard of anyone using MSD injectors on their SR, pretty much what it comes down to is I dont want to Spend 500+ on fuel injectors if i get a bigger turbo, thanx

I have MSD style injectors (Siemens 55lb/hr) on my sr you need to solder a resistor inline IIRC 6.8 ohm 10 watt on each plug plus you need a top feed fuel rail and the plugs for the injectors solter the resistor and the new plugs on and you are set

So how did you go about coming up with a new fuel rail? did you just custom make one or something?

like 4 or 5 places sell the fuel rails, hey could you take apic and post it of the installed resitors, i was thinking of doing the resotor thing to run dsm 550cc

not sure if it works on sr20's but I have heard that the 550cc injectors from an RX-7 turbo II will work on the ca18det.

yes andrave they do but thier size is different (diameter of the area that plugs into the rail) than MSD injectors and it is alot harder to find fuel rails ment for those I always wondered about FD RX-7 injectors since they are side feed
I don't have a digital camera so i canot photograph the wires
just solder it in to the wire it dosen't matter which one on each plug but remember you only need one per plug then heat shrink and tape and your finished

head, are you talking about the sr20?
cause a guy I know said he was using the 550 CC ones on his CA and he didn't say he needed an aftermarket fuel rail.
I'll have to ask him about that next time I talk to him.

Turbo 2 injectors are top feed so they will not fit SR20 hence the fuel rail

Will the DSM injectors work if I use the fuel rail too?
