My reverse lights on my '92 240 are not working. The fuse is good, so I need to check the bulbs next. If the bulbs are good then I will check the switch. I am assuming it is a tranny mounted switch... there are a few of these, which one is it? I have a spare engine/tranny with all the plugs so I can swap switches to check them. Thanks.

hey man I just read this, I got a piece of dirt in my reverse light connector when i swapped clutches and I had to clean the plugs out and plug them back in. the reverse plug is the one on the pass side of the tranny. about halfway back you will see this like, sensor sticking out of the side, its the reverse sensor. thats the one that has the reverse plug on it.
sorry I can't be any more specific.

I had the same problem you did the reverse light would not come on with my KA tranny, but when i did the SR swap the problem went away. So im guessing its a sensor in your tanny.
