ok i did a motor swap into a shell i bought (ka24e) not too long ago. When my motor dropped in it took forever to start so i changed the maf and now the car started right away. The second it started i tried taking it around the block but as soon as i hit the gas it dies unless i let go right away then itll slowy creep back to life. I plugged in my fl75a alternator fuse and i popped right away. Now my car will idle but wont run and the fuse pops instantly causing my battery to drain. Is there any master ground that could cause the fuse box to crap out? My female plug on the tps is also covered in some green build up. any thoughts?

Unplug the MAF while the car is running. If you don't notice a difference id say the MAF is toast.

Sounds like bad timing and a short/bad ground somewhere.

already changed out maf for working one. Im thinking its electrical but im stumped. The timing should be fine since it hasnt been messed with at all. Im still thinking its the throttle position sensor. Anyone here selling one along with the female plug? Im thinking i have a bad ground somewhere. Ill post pictures up soon and we can play " spot the ground!!!"
your alternator is toast. same happened to my ka-e. ground touched power then popped fuse and it killed my alt.

That makes sense. Some idiot (my younger cousin) "grounded" a cable from the alternator to the negative terminal when i wasn't looking. After that there was a big flash and very girlish scream (my cousin again) and all my interior electronics went out i.e. auto seat belts, HUD, ect. So a f(&!(#$&(# up alternator is whats causing my fuse to pop?
Thats what he said. I would take it out to get tested then try again.

ok then gonna wake up early and take out the alternator this morning and drop off my alt to get tested and my battery to get charged while im at it. May aswell get some cleaner crap for all my plugs. My female plug on the tps is GREEN! has that crap build up. If this stuff doesnt work im gonna post another thread names CRAP!!!!!!!!! ("\(*.*)/")

He's making fun of you for calling a US spec 240SX a 'Silvia'. Your car is not a Silvia. It never will be. Get off the bandwagon.
And like all has said, the alternator lead is shorted to ground. Hence the alternator fuse blowing. Fix it.

mine did the exact same thing and it fried a wire there and i just rigged up a fuse where it burnt and never had another issue with it. it kinda looks like this guy did the same thing.

You mean the coil?
Ignition coil. If you're going to post up a shitty ass picture, at least know what you're discussing.

What are u talking about? Wo one knows please clarify what wire you are talking about and save the smack talk for later.
What RDM meant was that ur post has no substance and just clutters this forum since you did not explain what it is u want us to see; therefore your picture has no substance and is not usefull.
Lets all act like grown-ups even if we are not all grown. RDM has extensive knowledge in cars so if u ask the right question u will get a right answer.

actually I was telling the guy who started the thread to look in that general area for a fried wire because it has happened to me and several of my friends.
I dont know if your just blind but I did type something under the picture explaining?

You're a fucking moron. Your friends too apparently. You 'rigged a fuse' inline, that's brilliant, did you use wire nuts to secure it? So all your friends have shitty ass hack job cars like yours where you have to rig a fuse into a wire to keep it from burning up?
Your description showed nothing but a white circle, if you knew what the coil was you should have said "the coil harness" or something similar. Most people on here are just as stupid as you so assuming they're smarter is ignorant on your part, and the actual smart ones can't dumb themselves down to figure what you're trying to relay by your weak, pathetic attempts at problem solving.

well whatever happens im not "rigging" anything the way its not supposse to be. The problem is in the alternator not in the coil. Or in the fuel/spark/air area
