so a threaded tube that feed an oil transmitter broke off in the oil filter housing and I cant seem to get it out.....heres a pic

I tried an "easy out" and that just made things worse. So my question is, does that whole oil filter adapter come off so I can just replace it with a new one. here is a pic that I took from someone elses thread...

it looks like it does but I cant seem to get if off

i dunno what ur trying to say and what your problem is but yes the oil filter housing comes off just look at it. its like 5 bolts or something.

probably have to drill and tap it.
I THINK Russ Said you really dont even need it. Its just for the dummy light on the Dash but when it lights up its more than likely too late anyway.
So just plug it up if thats the case

I can't tell if that is a sr or ka. Looks like a ka though. Either you can drill it and use an extractor or just replace the whole oil block. I have a sr oil block if you need it. PM me. I can also get you a ka oil block too though.

I would just remove the whole oil pressure sender unit off with the allen bolts
If this is an SR one, I have a good condition SR one that you can use a replacement, 30 bucks + shipping

its on a sr....the easiest thing is probably just remove the whole oil block.....pming those with the sr blocks now.....

yes there was another thread about this not too long ago. they said to plug it up itll just keep leaking.

ok, well i got 3 out of the 4 allen bolts out but one is stripped.............damn it!
