I want to buy or rent a cherry picker in L.A. area

cheapest and easy way.. buy it at kragen/autozone and return it!
Or if you are planning to keep one go to harbor freight. they go for like $108 total when its on sale.

autozone doesn't rent out cherry pickers..well at least the ones in my area don't. there's an ad on craigslist for a rental...in like chino i think.

A lot of auto part stores stopped renting.

There are certain places that rent the large towable hoists for around $30-40 a day.

The one I used to rent out was a 1.5 ton from pep boys that was easy to assemble and disassemble.

Buy it, rent it out a few times and then sell it for cheap. Perfect way to get your money back plus some in your pocket as well.

You may want to try AO richardson in glendale... They do nothing but rent out tools... it is worth a call at least
