So a couple weeks ago I had an OBD1 S14 KA swapped into my s13.

When I was driving it home I reached my home town and it was around 9pm so it was a bit cold and turned the a/c off. As soon as I released the a/c button... complete engine shutdown. Lost power steering and brakes obviously on a windy road lined with oak trees. Not fun.

I pulled over and with the a/c button pressed back in, it started and got me home without a hitch.

The next day I came out to start and move it and it wouldn't even start.

It's just been sitting like this for about 3 weeks now because I've been busy with school and I feel like I'm back to square one again. After buying a rebuilt motor and having the headache of install off my hands. It has me pretty discouraged at this point.

Sooo basically anyone have any ideas on a possible cause/easy fix, before I have to take it back up to Riverside?

Maybe that was your stealth killswitch.

Long shot but maybe your AC clutch has frozen in place and only turns when engaged...not sure how those clutches work. I think they're magnetic/centrifugal. check t out. take the belt off and see if the car starts.

I'll try that if I have some free time tomorrow.
