before i start i just want to classify that i have less than 1500$ in BOTH cars.

ive always been into 240s but my dad got me a e36 when i turned 16 so i went through a few of those until i realized they are just not easy enough to work on for me. and my dad also has a clean z32 and i just wanted to do some of the same things he did. and he has a parts car so i can use some of the parts off of it.

the story goes i bought the gold car a few months back and never even touched it. its a 1995 4 lug, automatic car with a kouki front. it has 118k miles and doesnt have any performance mods besides a weld on.i didnt really want to do anything to it until i had enough money to make it fun to drive(5 speed) so its just been sitting.

now to the red car. a friend of mine built the car and then sold it to his friend which in term spun the rod bearing in #1 cylinder so its been sittin in his garage for a couple of months. well i ended up getting in touch with the guy and being able to take it off his hands. its a 1996 with with 188k miles 5 lug, 5 speed and a home built turbo kit(i believe t25) its got a z32 maf, sr injectors, full exhaust, full suspension and a few other things that i know forgetting.

my POA is to take the 5 speed/lug swap off the red car and put it on mine this weekend but its been raining for like 6 days straight so im stuck. im going to take the turbo kit parts off and fix some of the rigging and when its all done put it on my car and then start worrying about exterior/interior things. i think its going to be a pretty fun project and maybe everything will go as planned. im hoping for this to be my dd because my truck gets HORRIBLE gas milage and im just tired of driving it. this is going to be a slow build but i just figured id post it up because i know i enjoy reading people builds so i figured maybe some of you would.

that's cool. seems like a pretty straight forward project. That is pretty cool that your pops is into cars too.

That's nice and all, but build threads are only allowed when there's a lot of progress already done to it(about 50-75% done with the project).
