Ok, you have to trust me on this one. Wet-sanding does wonders. When I did my front end conversion, my headlights, looked like, well, like yours. So I decided that the mis-coloring was on the outside, so I took a 2000 Grip sandpaper, and wet-sanded the lens, trust me, it works.

Could be on the inside if the calking has a leak. If so, just put the headlight in the oven at a low temperature for 5 minutes and peel it apart. Get some silicon to re-seal it though.

You need to tak emy advice, and his, do both of them, and then your headlights will look like new.

Guys,
Nail Polish remover or Acetone with some hard elbow grease and a shop rag. I prfer the microfiber, and watch what it does. I performed above feat on my 95 Kia Sephia and am contemplating on my 95 240sx SE. I will upload the pics once I take a before and after, just be careful with your paint job.

i've tried a lot of different things...

nail polish remover, rubbing compound, mother's mag polish, sand/clearcoat. They all work to some degree, but the yellowness is still there.

Its more apparent on my car because i have one new headlight and one old one. Of course, no matter what i do they're not going to look the same.

My buddy used Spray Nine on his fog lights inside them.

Take them out and remove the bulbs (not too familiar with S13 and if this is easily done)

but spray with spray nine inside, slosh around, dump, rinse and repeat as needed. Use a hair dryer to make sure theres no moisture.

Good luck.

Actually regarding what I previously posted, the full strength acetone actually ate the plastic housing away on my 95 240sx lights. I would scrub then all of the plastic startedmelting away on the cloth. I fixed by wet sanding. I did use a different type of nailpolish remover than I did on the 240. Wet sand or use soft scrub.

I would use extreme caution using acetone. It eats through just about every plastic known and will eat through paint and other finishes.
I use it to remove fiberglass resin from stuff... and its hardcore.

this may sonud really weird (it did the first time i heard it)
but to clean the yellow film on the headlights use tooth paste and a tooth brush. got rid of all the yellow film on my g/f's mx-3 and if there dull looking. dampin a cloth with some oli and whipe them with it and your done. i know it sounds stupid but it really works

I'm telling you man, if none of that stuff works, wet sanding is the way to go! It works.
