thing is they showed us the view which shows the side of the malibu that doesnt get hit, so it makes teh bel air look super horrible. but still crazy. Id like to see 70 240z vs 10 370z or something

Thought those old cars were built like tanks and people were not dying from being crushed in them, but from the shock of the impact itself and from being thrown out/around, because the cars did not have any crush zones or areas to absorb the shock, so it all transferred straight to the driver/passengers.
People would die and the car would be totally fine.
Perhaps I am thinking of a different era.
