ok, I'm new here and I know next to nothing about import cars. So can you guys help me out on this. How do you know which company makes good parts for Nissans? I dont really understand the differences that make them better or anything, if you could point me in the right direction or just explain it to me that'd be great. I have one more question on suspension. I know whiteline, tein and jic-magic are all pretty good for suspension. but how do you know which is better? This I also dont understand. I just think that a coil over is a coilover and there's not really a difference between them. Although I doubt that's right. Anyway thanks for all the help again

Search for reviews on the companies you have interest in. Try to find some people with the parts you want, and see what they think of them.

Coilovers are not all made the same. They can vary from different valving mechanisms in the shock bodies, to having different springrates. Sometimes you come across a quirk or problem, such as some models of Tein's rusting, or the Whiteline swaybar endlinks being claimed to be to flimsy. Do some searches, and you'll find some answers.
