Similar to bouncin_180's question except that my problem is not zenki to kouki....i actually own a 97 n when my car got jacked they completely clipped my headlight harness....My question (since im not finding any harnesses) is what is the best way to rewire my lights?? should i buy zenki n retrofit hid's, wait for koukis to pop up on here, or sumn else. i suck at wiring so any broken down info would be great...

Buy a set of kouki headlights and ask the seller to include as much wiring as possible. Then clip off the factory harness and make your connectors with auto parts store stuff. Not hard.

Right side:
low beam power = red\blue gnd = black
high beam power = red\green gnd = black
turn sig power = green\black gnd = black

Left side:
low beam power = red\yellow gnd =black
high beam power = red\black gnd = black
turn sig power = green\yellow gnd = black

i say stick with the kouki. beautiful in pure form

you dont need a HARNESS

you need to lengthen the cut wires and install the proper connectors on there

low beam is h1, very simple
high beam is 9005, you'll need a female connector

unless you're a super baller and can afford my new bixenon 97-98 headlights, and you wont need any of that.

this makes perfect sense....i guess i just cant source the connectors.....so for ex. if i go to say kragen will i be able to find an H1 connector that can be plugged up to my stock koukis or even an H4 or will i have to modify the light in order to fit sum kind of aftermarket connector..same w highs??

Take solder, take wires, put them together with headlights, hook up to battery, done. Muhahaha

Oh and don't forget your fuse.

The dealer sells the plugs with leads for the headlights. They sell a lot of pigtails for various parts on the car, including the radio, anything that's typically damaged or stolen is available. Courtesy's site shows a lot of them.
