So i wSo i was at My Girls house.. pulled into the shed and then backed out and found a moderate size oil puddle on the floor. This is just after i thought i heard a slight knock in the engine.... checked the oile and it didnt even hit the bottom of the dipstick... where could be the culprit, im hoping that it is like the ring on the oil filter that blew out cause that is easy. the engine has 270 thousand on it..... then my nexy question is if it is bad do i set the car and wait till i can get a engine swap in it thought about a ca18t or a ka24det. i am great with a wrench but if it means that i have to do a rear seal i might as well just rebuild and turbo the ka... does any one know of a good kit to rebuild the ka and make it turbo ready?
