I tried my best to keep up with it last season, but i missed alot of the begining episodes...GREAT show none the less...

I was wondering if anybody was gonna make a post about this. This is one of my favorite new shows. IMO most of the acting is horrible but the story is pretty good. I watched all of last season a couple days ago. I watched all the episodes back to back, I couldn’t stop watching! Season premier was pretty good. Cool to see Henry Rollins, I hope he stays around for a while.

The Finale was nuts tho! I dont get where Clay's wife was going with the cop tho. I mean im pretty sure they were bailin outa town. But the dialogue between them made it sound like the cop was leaving with her too..Is he skipping town too? Shit confused me...

And whatsup with stealing babies? lol that was a bit on the wierd side, but it does hit close to home...that would SUCK!

Also, when they went to the Tattoo parlor to kill that other dude right when they walked in there was a cop IN the store...they just walked passed the cop after killing the dude with one of them holding a shotgun? lol i thought that was kinda wierd...

Gemma fucked everything up though. She got revenge on the girl but screwed up the clubs plan and the baby ended getting kidnapped.

As for the tattoo shop part, that was funny (when the owner was on the phone with Opie). Opie asking him to send him to the bathroom and him reading what he has on his chest and saying "no problem. Oh and to answer the question they came through the back...

I really didn't like how they just left Zobelle. That was too obviously just a plot vehicle. They could've easily slapped cuffs on him and had Tig drag him back to be locked up at the club house until they get the baby back, or pretty much anything but just giving up and leaving. The show has always avoided pitfalls like this, so I'm sad to see it as one of the most important plot points in a finale. :(

IMHO actualy the cop lady was the one that screwed everything up for her shinanigans and bad reaction to getting punched in the baby maker...haha (THAT was halarious lol)

The acting was great up until this premiere where I feel they could have done a better job but then again I think alot of the dialouge was a little off, maybe a new writer? They saved all the good stuff for the last 10min though

BUT...

The ending tied it all together, and finished off some of the storyline that was getting old.

That was a pretty good season premiere. I loved the brutality at the end of the episode. I guess you shouldn't shiv Jax Teller when he's in prison.

Poo Unser :( That was the first thing I thought when I saw him. Poor dude's living in a trailer, just getting by. The Sons sure screwed over that undercover operation the feds had going...

I thought Otto was a goner, till they showed him in the medical ward. What a ruthless way to take that dude out.

Interesting, I would concur that Justified is really good. I do also like SOA quite a bit and felt the season opener made it compelling. It was interesting to see Jax say he wants out to his girl, but at the same time go out and commit cold blooded murder saying its just business. Seriously compromised ethics going on there. But that is what makes the show so compelling .
Its like they have you feeling something for someone that is pretty much a ruthless fuck. LOL

I don't think Clay is going to die. I heard he has signed on for Season 5...

Tig has opened up the floodgates after going for LeRoy. Romeo also wanted to get the deal done so that's why he told Jax that Otto didn't make any deal.

For the record, when FX added the additional episode to this season it was not because they wanted to add another "new episode". It was because Sutter was having a tough time fitting the finale into one just one standard episode, hence this week being advertised as part 1 of the 2 part finale.

I normally don't get caught up in the details, and just watch for entertainment...but since I have been watching SOA from day one...

I feel like Juice 'ratting' was a big betrayal of his character. Dude is hardcore, always has been 110% about the club. IMO, he'd never flip over something as trivial as that.

A small complaint, I know...but I thought that was weak (from the show script / writers standpoint).

The rest of the season: Thumbs up.

WOW I knew they'd do a reset button, but to go that far?! Ugh, way too much build up all season to do essentially nothing but cosmetic shifts of roles.

I figured they weren't going to kill off Ron Pearlman. They can milk the family story at least another season. I was also disappointed there was no Ope at the end. The only highlight of the episode was when Tara caught herself using "baby" like Gemma always does. This show is not deep or interesting enough for a finale like that. It needed something to happen. That's why people like the show. Sutter probably thinks Jax sitting at a different chair at a table is compelling and it blew our minds.

Tara's game plan is to get Gemma out the picture, so she can get Jax and the boys out of the life. With how this show usually goes, Tara probably didn't tie up all the loose ends to her plan, Gemma will end up back in the mix eventually and Tara will be back to scheming again.
