My setup:

s14 SR
HKS Actuator @ 14psi
Megan FPR
FMIC
Walbro fuel pump
z32 Fuel Filte
480cc injectors
z32 MAF

So quick question. Im about to put on the s15 480cc injectors and the z32 MAF but want to know if i do will my car run like crap or will it still run as if i had the stock 370cc injectors and the stock maf? I know i need a tune to see any power difference with putting on the injectors and MAF but will i be able to drive my car without a tune? I need to be able to put on those 2 things and drive my car to the shop and have it tuned...Will it be ok?

So pretty much, will me car be running like crap when i installed the injectors/maf or will it still be running as if i had the stock injectors/maf on?

If you change your injectors or maf, you will need a retune.

It's simple as that.

You can try and drive your car but I am pretty sure it will run like crap.

Will it run with a z32 maf without some sort of tune? rom, safc, ect...

You can run a Z32 maf with safc, and also the injectors
but it will no be as good as a tune...

Well it kind of answers my question.
So im in Orange County and i need to drive to LA which is about 30-45min away. If i put on the new injectors and MAF will i be able to drive my car on the freeway to get to LA?

I've got a nistune chipped ECU that I'll be driving to get tuned.

if you just drop in 480cc injectors, your car will run good enough to get it there. If you drop in the maf without tuning, it will just die. If you are able to get into the nistune software, you should be able to go in there and tell it you have a z32 maf.

Yeah thought so.
Darn. I don't have the software nor the consult cable. I purchased the nistune'd ECU of a member here on zilvia.

I'll try and drive it to the place with the injectors in and try and wire up the MAF infront of the shop. :duh:

Not that wiring a maf should take more than 5 min,
But if you can borrow an SAFC from a freind you can do everything in advance, and it only takes a two minutes to wire it all up...
