For us, we're staying at Encore for my buddy's bachelor's party. I know, a group of guys don't get much love at clubs, but we have a couple booths at XS set up. I hear XS is the best club out there right now.

Also to save some money, we're each bringing a bottle in our luggage. Southwest Airlines allows this as long as it's unopened and sure not to break (bubble wrap works)!!

best advice i can give you here. is. if your gonna shop. go to the las vegas outlet mall its on charleston and the 15 super close to the stratosphere.


dont shop at any other mall (not the forum shops, or the miracle mile shops at the planet hollywood, not the mandalay bay shops, not no store in the strip)


you can get the same brand new shit on the outlet mall for half the price. example

lacoste polo at the outlet mall = $75.00

lacoste polo at the fashion show mall in front of the wynn = $125.00




just my 2 cents. if you got a girl dont take her to shop in the well known casinos theyll rape you.


and try not to stay in the strip all your time spent here in vegas.

go downtown. its being rebuilt to have a clasicall elagant downtown feel.


if you want good sushi too. you might want to wonder off the strip and onto local streets youll find a sushi place called Sushi-mon

best sushi and its kinda far from the strip its more of a locals place but yea.

i mean if your into sushi theres alot of good sushi in town and places offering cheap all you can eat specials.

Maybe it's just because I actually like knowing the girl I'm going back to my room with is good even when I'm sober, and not some random slut from a club. All the while having to contend with meat heads who gets their wardrobe at Buckle, and having to drop $100+ on drinks just to get nice and toasty. Nor do I like throwing my money down the shitter. Fuck gambling.

I do however love the atmosphere, all the shit to do, people to fuck with, etc...

what is a good group to run with?

I'd like to visit the Vegas track & Spring Mtn more often.
(you can only visit Button-willow, Willow Springs, CA speedway etc so often)
Socal groups like Speedventures, Redline, etc either don't do enough events,
or have stopped doing them entirely.

Reading the 'motorsports' forum,
seems like all you guys do is drift there.
I'm optimistic there are more driving events.

from my experience

clubs: LAX, Tryst, Moon are cool clubs TAO is way too packed! overhyped
suggestions: #1 drive all the way down the strip past the luxor to the nearest CVS load up on alcohol party in the room before the club only thing you have to do is worrying about buying a lucky girl a drink if ya want

#2 buy clothes out there go down to the shopping malls away from the strip and hit up an H&M get some fresh clothes if you don't got any

#3 Fat tuesdays at the miracle mile mall get a tall yard with an extra shot of whatever they put in and by the time you hit the bottom you'll be pretty good

if you got cash hit up hawaiian tropic by planet hollywood the food is pretty good and so are the girls ;)

but pretty much the gold rule is STAY AWAY FROM THE STRIP FOR FOOD AND ALCOHOL!!!

lol, I only paid $30 too... And apparently if you're staying at the Wynn or Encore and you show them your room cardkey, you get $10 off! I had my key on me and I didn't know. I found out as soon as I stepped into the club...

But yeah.. XS is pretty cool. The indoor club was PACKED but the outdoor area and blackjack table area was nice.

Definately check out a pool party when your out there. I went to Ditch Fridays at the Palms last year and it was SOOO awesome! It was without a doubt, the highlight of my trip!

I hear Bare at the Mirage is good, and Rehab on Sunday mornings at ... I forgot where...

It helps if you know someone out there that can get you on guestlists and what not. My cousin goes to school out there so she has a bunch of hookups. :w00t:

Also, if you are AT ALL interested in flair bartending, Carnival Court @ Harrah's is a MUST! Let's just say, after 2 Long Islands, I was pretty damn drunk! TIP THEM WELL and they will HOOK YOU UP! (go see Flippy, awesome entertaining bartender)

JUST got back from Vegas. INSANE.

Ladies EVERYWHERE.

XS was so much fun on Friday that we went again on Sat. Not sure how much they were charging on Friday night, but Saturday girls were $20 and guys were $50. I think it was because of Magic week stated above.

Our bottle of Hennessy XO (for us) and Goose (for the ladies) and our table totaled to about $1400.

Our room at the Encore was BALLIN. About $800 for both nights. I'll try to post a quick vid later. The Euro pool during the day had girls topless and some with pasties. The regular pool was fun too, full of females.

Conclusion:
I can tell that if you go to Vegas broke, you won't have fun. Save up, then go. We went all out and had a fuckin' blast.

Going back 4th of July weekend, thinking on hitting up Tao and Rehab on Sunday next.

say $60-$100 is reasonable.
restaurants do just that, and once in a rare while I might splurge for a $100-$200 wine.

however, marking some $30 bottle of cheaper alcohol by 15x is just outrageous.
I thought restaurants marking up a bottle of wine by 2/3 times was bad.

Think I'll opt for a cheaper club, use the savings for a track day & a tasting dinner w/ wine pairing at Guy Savoy.
It's not that I'm not willing to spend.
It's just painful to be so wasteful about it.

I've always loved Vegas, and ever since I dated a chick that lived out there a couple years ago (and her roommate was a promoter) and got to see everything for free, I go back as often as possible. My favorite places are the after-hours clubs, they all have dope settings, and you meet the most chill people ~

I'm actually a half-decent cash-game poker player, so I play the $2/$5 tables most of the time and have made ~$800/session the last 3 or 4 times I've gone - that's what finances the fun for the rest of the trip lol.

vegas is a great place as a local. most locals stay away from it since alot of them work there (so visiting the strip is like going to work for them LOL) also people that dont work at the strip dont really go there either since its mad hectic compared to our local neighborhoods.


but a few locals now and me take advantage of the strip. sometimes i go there to forget i am even in vegas. i hit up the new york, new york. and eat lunch there since everything inside is like as if you were eating in the street in nyc. sure it aint the real thing nor does it resemble it but its quite different then what im used to.


so again if anyone wants to come down or is coming then hit me up. ill tell you what you need to know or give u tips and tell you were to go.

MGM Signature is nice. Its where I stayed a few weeks ago when I went, but we went the week before the Mayweather/Marquez fight :-/. Still fun nevertheless.
