240 Vacuum problems HELP!

With the motor running if I pull the dipstick or remove the oil cap the engine stalls! Is this normal?
also I have a mettalic rattle coming from the bell housing (5 speed)
just replaced a whining throw out bearing today but the rattle is still there
it stops when the clutch is engaged
any insight from all you nissan gurus would be great

its not ur throw out bearing its ur input shaft bearing. the throw out bearing would be bad only if the noise was present just at the start of freeplay. ur input shaft bearing will make noise when ur foot is completely off the pedal

How hard are those input shaft bearings to replace?

the throw out was bad also it whined really bad thats fixed, how much of a pain to replace the input shaft bearing??
