i purchased a 1995 automatic car a few months back because it was a good deal. ive never even got the car registered so i havent even drove the car at all. i purchased another car about a week ago that going to donate its 5 speed, 5 lug swap, and ka-t onto my car. well me a friend took the car out and i decided to cut a little donut just joking around and then just took it right back home. well i started the car up today to take it to where im going to do the swap and noticed i was throwing a check engine light so i went and got the car scanned and im throwing 2 codes.
the first is a P0400 with is EGR flow malfunctioin. im pretty sure this isnt to bad of a fix. but the other code is what im worried about.
the other is P0325 which is knock sensor 1 circuit malfunction bank 1 or 1 sensor. my question is does this code more than likely mean my motor may have a knock or that the knock sensor itsself is bad? i have another one i can slap on to check but before i do that work i just wanted to get you guys opinion.
when doing the donut i dont even think i hit that hi of revs and the car has enough oil if that helps out any.
thanks in advanced for the help if anyone answers.
