:rl::rl:
can anyone help me out. i looked and looked cant find anything.
basically the battery is fine i just replaced it. and the battery keeps getting drained.
I have bought a new one like i said. and what i have to do is basically unplug the battery after i shut the car off EVERY TIME, and plug it back in when i want to start it.
i know i cant ask if anyone has an idea whats going on because 1 million things can triger it. but whats the worst, and least worst thing that can be the problem. :bite:
lol damn 240's do have something wrong 80% of the time :duh: oh well :2f2f:

Wow, I just had that same problem like 2 weeks ago. Did all types of test on the starter, alternator and battery. Everything came up fine, even replaced the battery but was still draining after ~13 hours. Turned out to be a short within the alternator that was not getting picked up. Try swapping them out. goodluck!

ya check your alternator. if there is something wrong with it then its gonna drain all the power from your battery. if you were closer i have an extra one you could have for cheap lol like a double-double animal style cheap

Yeah, I ended up getting a reman. Can you go to a shop and have them run a drain test to see if you have a draw? If you don't, I'm going to say that it is most likely the alternator.

so just checked the radiator and contacted the previous owner.
and we came to the conclusion its not the alternator.
apperently something in the car (before it was in my hands) was done Half-assed. so ill take in to a euro shop (the owner there is good with wiring ) thats seen the car before thanks to previous owner to get that checked

The most common problem I've seen is bad audio wiring. Sometimes people use constant on instead of ignition switched power source.
So if you have an aftermarket audio unit, check the entire system for shoddy wiring.

Make sure the little piece of plastic that presses against the brake light switch hasn't broken up and fallen out. If that goes your brake lights will be on all the time and drain the battery.
