Ok i installed my greddy oil press gauge when i changed my oil this afternoon...
Isn't it supposed to read pressure immediately after the engine turns on?
Do i have a pressure leak?
Faulty Gauge?
or is it going to warm up and then start reading pressure?
misnomer

The oil pump runs off the engine, you should have pressure whenever the motor is running. If it's a mechanical guage, I imagine you'll see pressure immediately. Otherwise. . . who knows. . .

well i would say that you wired it wrong, when you say your car doesnt crank do you mean that it does nothing when you turn the key (like the battery is totally dead) see if any of your electrical stuff works IE headlights, cd player, if this is the case, check fuses, and im not sure if 240s, but your fusable link could have blown which is located in a maybe 14guage piece of wire where the positive cable connects to the battery(this is where it is located on some cars) someone can narrow this down as i have never had this happen in a 240

ack, dude, that's not cool.
Butt connectors and crimp connectors are the crappiest way to do things (those twisty ones aren't much better). Go to radio shack and drop $7 on a decent iron (40watts min, or you'll be making it harder than it needs to be... get an iron too, not a gun).
Imagine if that stupid crimp connector came off on the freeway... you're saying you you lost EVERYTHING electrical... so no PS, PB or anything else... not good.
