Clean 1991 240sx for sale SOCAL

Up for sale is my white 1991 240sx coupe. I’ve had it for about 3 years and it’s been my daily driver. The chassis has about 170K miles on it. Great car, I’ve only had one issue with it which resulted in a complete overhaul of the motor—the engine and steering have less than 15k miles. The car has a salvage title due to theft before I bought it (I went through inspections and VIN verifications and everything is in order). Tags are current and it will pass smog except for the EGR check engine light. I’m only selling it because I bought a new car and it’s too small and low for my dad to keep.


The good:
Rebuilt engine:
• Rebuilt head with re-polished cams and complete valve job (new valves, retainers, etc.)
• Completely disassembled and powder coated intake manifold (top and bottom, new hoses, gaskets, etc.)
• Completely disassembled bottom end (new rings, rod and main bearings, polished crankshaft, new Nissan oil pump and pressure shim kit)
• New full timing chain kit (upper and lower)
• New water pump, PCV, and gaskets
• New EXEDY Street clutch
• New braided steel clutch line from SPL
• New slave, clutch master, and brake master cylinders
Rebuilt steering:
• Rebuilt rack and pinion (new inner/outer tie rods, seals, bellows, etc.)
• New rack and pinion mounting bushings
• Recent alignment
Suspension:
• Megan coils (provide a 2” drop or so)
• KYB GR-2 struts
• Falken 15” tires with about 85% tread
Interior:
• S14 seats in mint shape (from ’98 240sx)
• Carpet in great condition
• Kenwood CD player and 4 Kenwood speakers I bought new
• Steering wheel in great condition (no tears, gouges, etc.)
• No tears in headliner, although it could use some cleaning
Extras:
• J30 VLSD with approximately 90K miles
• New in box catalytic converter
• New condition mechanical fan (the one on the car is in excellent shape, by the way)

The bad:
• The aforementioned salvage title
• The CD player display comes and goes but plays radio and CDs great
• Needs a bit of the black stripe on the front end to complete the look
There is a small rust spot above the rear windshield.

$2700 OBO for everything as listed.
$2500 OBO for everything minus the s14 seats (bring your own seats)
Will take $100 off either price but I keep the VLSD.

I knew I had missed something--the car is A/C ready (was working before the compressor went out)...needs a new or working compressor and a charge...the rest of the HVAC (defrost, fresh air vents, etc.) all work...
