I know not too many people on this forum are into drag racing, but I figured I would post my most recent video for those that are. Car is a 1989 Pignose Hatch with a S13 Blacktop SR. Motor is internally stock other than JWT S4 cams and an Apexi HG. Turbo is a GT30R Twin Scroll running about 20psi. It is a true street car with FULL interior as well as about 100 pounds of dynamat throughout the entire vehicle, and a JL 12W3 subwoofer and box in the hatch. Enjoy!

Haha. Yeah, I didn't even know the announcer said that until I looked at the video today. Those Mickeys sure as hell are sticky. I had to launch at 7700rpm!!

Can not remember the exact rim spec, but somewhere around 15x7+38. The MT slicks are 26/8.5/15. 93 octane pump gas.
nice run any pics of the engine
Thanks. Here are some engine bay pictures.

Yeah, it made 425whp on a dynojet. With that same tune, only made 360 on a mustang dyno. Cleaned up my tune a bit and ended up making 400.7whp and 328wtq on a mustang dyno.

This is for the idiots swapping in 2JZ's into their S chassis. You DON'T need a huge motor to run great numbers.

No you don't, Mike...
Rockingham is in Richmond County, and the only good thing ever to come out of Richmond County is John Coltrane, and even his family moved to High Point.

Thanks! I'm running KTS coilovers. Full soft on the rear, dead center for the fronts.
very clean setup.. and nice pass.. if you dont have a z32 tranny you are going to need one soon!
Yeah, I do have a Z32 Tranny. I should have said that in my original post. Shifts like ass crack compared to my SR tranny with B&M shifter, but it sure is a hell of a lot stronger!!

Thanks a lot man, took a lot of time to get this done right!
This is for the idiots swapping in 2JZ's into their S chassis. You DON'T need a huge motor to run great numbers.
That is very true. I could probably set up the 2 step on my Aem and run a tad more boost and run low 11's. Pretty solid considering this is a stock longblock SR other than cams and a hg. And this is still taking into account that I have a full interior plus some. Haha. Another thing to point out is you don't have to turn 9500 either to get a good run/make good power. Most of the people that I know with a Solid Lifter setup don't run any better times, and seem to have more head/adjustment problems than a normal head setup.

Haha. It's funny you say that. She was eying me when I was staged so I made sure to come out the "hole". But, as Phlip said, not too much going on in Richmond County.
Awesome numbers- I remember saving pics of your car when I first got my hatch. Very clean, with numbers to back it up!
Thanks for the compliments.

Thanks, I feel the same. I did get my ass handed to me a few times, but it was always by a Trailer Queen completely gutted running a roll cage and race gas.
very nice 60" the R/T could of been better but shit 11.5 is still fast as shit.
Yeah, I wasn't really focusing on my R/T because depending on what lane I ran in, the tree was different. I ran on a pro tree a few times and did not like it!
