So I now have a gigantic garage attached to the house I just bought. Its in desperate need of mantown awesomeness. How about some inspiration?
What kind of badassery would you put?

What did you do with yours? What kind of suggestions would you have?
Post some pics links or ideas.

I need "dont peek at my toolchest" curtains. Diamond plate curtains? (if they exist)

Datsun clock?

Pirate flag?

Whatcha got.

Pirate flag
American flag
Marine Corps flag
Nissan posters
Random classic car part (hubcaps, emblems, and such)
etc. etc. etc.

At least that's how my garage "was" decorated. I haven't taken the time to spruce up the new garage yet.

I collect replica vintage tin signs because they are cheaper. Oil brands, car makes, gas stations, random shit, john deere, coca cola, etc. Dart board is a must for me.

Need to get a Fast and the furious poster. Banners are cool too. Theres a couple I want. Need to reorganize. garagejournal.com/forum I used to frequent. Awesome stuff there.

i had a Jail Break arcade machine in my garage/basement, i recently traded it for some metal DDR pads, though. i'm toying with the idea of moving Ms. Pac-Man out of the living room and into the garage, but i don't want it getting greasy. i'll probably just wait for another arcade game to come along for cheap.
i personally believe standup arcade games are the best way to decorate any room in your home.

this.
also:

-i've got a set of Porsche RS60 posters to put up when we finish tuckpointing. somebody posted a link for them on here a while back.
-my garage/basement has a shitty couch and chair, 32" tv, xbox, all that shit. i need a stereo, too. entertainment and seating in your garage area is very important if you have, say, a winter project. while you're working on it, friends are much more likely to keep you company if you have a way to entertain them. NES, SNES.
-lots of four foot fluorescent bulbs. the more the better. i have 8 dual tube fixtures in my one-car slot, and i'm thinking about adding a few more for side lighting.

-Road signs
-Bunch of bottles of same type of beer (That can't be too hard, right?)
-Old magazines
-Random wheels
-License plates

now thats a manly garage. Jack Daniels old no 7 poster is always classic. Hit up roadside antique stores. they have cool stuff. hubcaps, vintage license plates, etc. a moose head would complete it.

Dont rush the decorations.

A great garage decor should always reflect experience. Garnish the walls with items that you aquire over time. That way it's not filled with randon crap that you dont really give a shit about.

Start with the essentials(vintage fridge, clock, old stereo, etc), and the details will fall into place.

Vagina Chair.

Penis Table.

Pube Carpet.

already have a 6 foot tall stuffed banana I will be slinging from the ceiling... does that count?
10 ft ceilings.

Good ideas guys, lovin it.

No couches here - more man garage less mancave... A couch is a waste of space when you can just put more tools there.:wackit:

Has a shelf for a tv that will have... a tv + a modded xbox 1 so I have nes/snes/etc. covered.

Still hunting for mancurtains (not to be confused with beef curtains)

I want to find a giant exploded engineering type diagram of a turbo for a wall poster, something I have in mind. Anyone know a CHEAP place for a custom print (if I can find a diagram)

Definitely going to have some vintage in it - old school posters or signs, etc.

limit the decorations, garages are for working on cars, bikes, etc... unless your garage is huge. All that other stuff sound like things in someone's basement.
