so i cant f-in sleep all night so i go out for a cruise down rt 80 in jersey
im jammin out at 75mph with a Toyota land cruiser in front of me
the Toyota switches lanes quickly and theres a god damn plastic garbage can in the middle of the road.
theres cars on either side so i brake as much as possible and BOOM
in case u were wondering 240s hold up fairly well to plastic garbage cans at speed
i lost a fog light (didn't work neways) and bent my license plate
theres a few scratches on the bottom on my pignose but other than that i cant complain...
but wait theres more after i get off the shoulder i turned around in rockaway and got back on 80 west.
next to me is some type of roadster with black vinyl(spelling) covering it.
it was about the size of an s2k with the rear lights of a db9
a retractable spoiler dual tip exhaust and what looked like a dodge front end
heres the pic i snapped b4 i almost missed my exit...

The red one is probably the one you saw. Interesting bit on the wing, might want to send that in to them.

Yeah, I kinda figured it was the first ;) I just think the lengths they go to disguise is kinda funny.

Ah, the retractable part makes sense now.

its kinda wierd that most all european "test mules" and like unreleased models that are coming out, that on TV i always see have jersey plates. even if the car is being test driven out in like california or out west somewhere.

I see a lot of Michigan where I am... a lot of test mules come through Arizona.

I think it has to do with the car makers taking advantage of state law differences.

plus i guess they want to "heat" test the cars too, think i saw on tv that nissan NA has a testing grounds out in AZ for heat testing.

plus i know all cars being imported from europe come through north jersey but its strange i guess they have their "testing buisness" set up in jersey.

I notice a lot of the cars in Motor Trend and other magazines have Jersey plates. I always wondered why as well.

I would hazard to say European cars Use Jersey because its a fairly large east coast port destination. So it would make sense that they would be doing their mule testing there for cars headed to North America.

This exact car looks like it is in the new Motor Trend. Red with the black on it as well.
