Help with Sparco seat install

ok, so i just picked up a sparco seat for 100 bucks....it has the hardware but it was out of a vw so it won't mount up. i can't really afford the 110 dollars for the base and an additional 65 for the sliders...so anyone ever mounted one of these before? homemade style? here is what the base looks like.

$110 is cheap for a direct bolt in piece. And judging by your questions, you should go that route as you don't seem competent enough to try anything else.

I think he's just trying to prove a point man, If you are in college and have no extra cash.. why are you modifying your car? specially a bucket seat, just doesn't make sense.

Either way its going to cost you.

$120 for some used rails and sliders and if you decide to get it modified that will be a good $75-$100 if you get it done by someone reputable.

It's "you're", and no, I don't think I'm better than anyone. I do however have a brain which allows me to decide if I can't afford something, I don't buy it. You haven't gotten there yet. Why do you need a Sparco seat, so you can drift through the college parking lot and look cool? Fucking dumbass kids like you make me laugh, you're broke as shit but still think modding a car with your Ramen noodle money is a good idea. Sell the car and buy a Schwinn if you're tight on funds.

But if you must, we'll discuss the rails further. I'm smart enough to know that if the rails won't magically appear out of my ass for free, I'd build my own brackets using steel stock, it's as simple as setting the seat in the car, measuring the length and angles needed, then cutting and bending new mounting feet for it to sit on and bolt down. After that, weld them on so they don't sheer off in a head on collision, they type you're prone to have (hopefully anyway) as you've proven you're a fucking moron.

Seriously though just buying some rails/sliders is worth it considering the time and materials, well mostly the time you will spend trying to make your own.

hey cheap ass, get a wedge engineering seat bracket. you'll also need a sparco slider or 'universal' one.
