most Newbie 240 ethusiasts bug me

I am honestly really in no position to really talk on this subject but if you don't feel like listening to me rant then do not proceed any further down.

most Newbie 240 guys really bug me. (remember I said most not all) Why?

-Before they own a 240SX they say they either want:

mcS14

Zenki S14 and then do a "Silvia Conversion"

S13 Fast back and then do a "sil80" conversion or strawberry face

Why are the newbies so obsessed with all these "conversions" Sure I may have a big ugly bodykit but I didn't go as far as completly chaging the face fo the car to something else.


-I want to buy a 240SX and do the SR20DET conversion!

Right! Dont' even bother to try out the KA or learn on it at all. Just buy the damn car and swap the motor and not even bother to upgrade your suspension, brakes etc which is much more important then the motor. I don't ever hear newbies saying:

"i wannt buy a 240SX and do the KAT conversion!"

heck I was gona go KAT but my miles acquired much faster then i would have liked them to.

Much of this blame has to go to Super Street more then Sport compact car for this national wide spread craze since most SS info is not accurate. Import Tuner, Import Racer etc has much to blame too since it seems all that is being covered these days or USDM 240Sx or Japanese Market Silvias.

That was my rant. It's far from over but I was just letting off some steam.

The reality is NiteKids, you are barely a notch above the newbies.

Your incessant attention whoring and "I've had my car longer than you so I'm better" attitude represent what's wrong with the import "scene" in general. Don't complain about newbie posts, because all you do is spout off some useless holier-than-thou rhetoric instead of even attempting to be helpful.

I have yet to see anything useful come from you, and you seem to be under the impression that just because you hang out with people who know about 240s, that the laws of transference will somehow give you their knowledge.

You need to stop trying to flippantly reply matter-of-factly to every newbie question, because it's obvious you don't know what you're talking about, as you get corrected essentially every time you say something.

Every freaking forum you go on (Zilvia, FA and even SupraForums)....all you do is post useless information. Not once have I ever heard of you posting something of interest to anyone. Yet your so quick shoot these people down that probably know more than you and have had their cars for a less amount of time. I could really go off but i'll keep it to myself.

This thread is quite funny. I've been on this forum for awhile and I know how things go.

Most of you guys should know about now that NiteKids doesn't give a f*ck what anyone says about him or his car. Also all of his threads with pics of his car are just another way of telling people where to find so-and-so pic of his car.

He rants, whines, bitches or whatever you want to call it because he can and doesn't give a rats ass about the outcome. He continues to "try" to burn a newbie or ethusiasts just for the hell of it.

When money doesn't become an issue......expect his car to become somewhat decent....maybe even nice (or badass :p).

im sorry, but i dont think nitekids car looks that bad, would look a lot better with matching rims( the typhoons) and a less flamboyant front bumper but hey, at least his kit is painted, and not the primered color like i see so often. nice looking car nitekids

and i see nitekids post and i see his ignorance... then people start flaming, but you dont hear from him for a while in the thread... then like 20 post after he is getting flamed he sez something a little more ignorant....
i see where you guys are getting at when you say he is an attention whore...
i see someone with that many post and think that they are pretty knowledgable like Dousan.. but then you read their post and think that its all post whores... oh well...
his car is pretty ugly.. but maybe we could all learn from him sometime... he gives out useful info prolly 2% of the time.. but it just teaches us not to be like him....
