Is there anyway to keep a car registered in Nevada is you're living in California?
Also, a bit off topic, but can a SR20DET + a 5spd be swapped into an auto 240SX?

Yes.  You can swap a sr20det and 5 speed for an auto tranny.  I intend to do it anyway.
You will need a manual drive shaft... cuz it is a little longer than the auto.  And some other stuff.  But there is a how-to on the auto-manual swap on 240sx.org installs section.  It says what you'll need.

As far as I know, it must be registered in the resident's state. So don't waste the trip up the hill <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> Fast: weren't you from Chandler? That can't be 7k feet. . .
