so im trying to install my set up now im not sure why the rod wont line up with the locks am i just not tightening it up correctly?


here you can see where the locks are at

im using this 1-1/4 wrench to get the job done but i cant!!!

...YOU CAN'T USE THOSE.

The spacer moves it out too far.

Just use threadlock.

so just fuck the metal lock just thread lock and tighten?

They've all hit it perfectly.

I threw on some Tein adjustable's 2 months ago, and then 2 weeks ago I was backing into a spot at full lock and my inner rods pulled out of the steering (without stripping the thread). That was a pain in the ass to get back in, but it works perfectly now.
