been prepping/sanding and shit since friday.. finally today comes to spray it.. got the kit sprayed, door jams and hatch.. and mother nature decides "nah you aint finishin this shit today boyyy!"

id make it a truck too if i had the resources... this is a budget paint job and im jobless again so i thought i could knock it out with all teh time in my hands.. Guess ill have to put everything up and try to salvage it, pretty sure teh paint i laid down earlier in the day will be alright..

yeah im in perris not baja.. weather popped up ninja status i was just sprayin the tail light area then i saw drips on the primer.. luckily i didnt blast the main body yet..

guess it gives me time to fine tune the spray gun etc, and im expecting some more reducer to arrive tomarrow..

im wet sanding the kit i painted since i got orangepeel city.. got my friend comin over tomarrow to spray it since im a total noob at sprayin i couldnt set my gun up right..

My plan when I get another s chassis and paint it: 4 gallons of o'reilly paint. Spray it on hella thick. Then just sand it all smooth. Same technique I used in shop class lol won 2nd place for nicest co2 car.

Yeah its nason paint. Not super good stuff, but its like 50 bucks a gallon at the one in St Robert

And that back yard paint will dry nice if not for the rain you might even get some dust or dirt blown on it while its drying in the middle of your yard, than it could be a custom budget paint job.


I am not trying to be a dick, but what if there wasn't any rain and you started spraying it but then as you finish a bird shits on your roof or hood?
Maybe this should be a learning lesson for you, to be prepared or atleast do that shit under a tarp awning or something to make a makeshift booth.

haha, mother nature always seems to be against you, when you are un prepared. but seriousely, you gotta set up some tarps or something, cause your for sure gonna get dirt and other crap on the wet paint doin it like that. if you dont mind it, then whatever, but im just sayin. anyways, good luck with the paint job. hope it turns out good for you.
