So I recently purchased a 1996 240sx and the lower radiator support needs to be replaced. Just wanted to know if anyone out there who has done it can give me some directions or tips to make my job easier. Also how much did you pay for the support, and where did you get it from?

I haven't personally, but work in the used parts business...and have replaced panels before. I would suggest trying to find a s14 in a junk yard, and have them cut as much as you need, hopefully past the pinch welds. Then once you get it, drill out your pinch welds, and the replacement supports welds...tack it back on and you are set....ish. I wouldn't expect a junk yard to sell one for more than $150.

You can get a replacement one from Nissan or off of a donor car.
You'll need to drill out all the spot welds and drill the new one in.
Or what I like is drill out the old one and use screws, bolts and threadlock.

I replaced mine after rear ending a tow hitch. Bought it from Nissan (300$$$) ouch. Drill out the spot welds, remove old radiator support , weld on new one. Thats pretty much the procedure. Make sure your headlights , fenders hood etc... line up before you weld it. I had to straigten my frame a bit. Used a couple of big comealongs and an alighnment rack, but any immoveable object will work ( large tree, etc...)
Its like the shoe commercial, Just Do It :naughtyd:

Alright. I guess I'm just gonna have to man up and fork out the cash and buy the parts to do this right. ill probably take pics of the before during and after replacement and post them up, so if your interested you can keep an eye out for that.
