ive got a macbook pro im thinking about trying to sell/trade for various parts, initially i just wanna see if theres any interest and if there is i guess i can edit posts and put up what i need once i figure that stuff out for myself.

Good:
2.4ghz intel processor (dual boot windows with bootcamp on it)
has os X with the cd incase you want to do a clean install and get rid of my partitioned hard drive.
15.4inch screen i believe
160gig hard drive
2 gigs of ram
has a custom heineken sticker my buddies and i made a few of haha

Bad:
battery needs to be replaced

its not this years most current slim macbook pro with the glossy screen, this is a year and a half old with the old button layout (got an updated keyboard before they made the newest pro which is currently on the market)

basically id like to see if anybody has some s13 coilovers/wheels/tires they would be willing to trade and if possible id love to find a CLEAN(no rust) white s13coupe no sunroof that i could throw some cash in on top of the computer

oh if you want the computer outright ill ship it anywhere in the u.s. for 1200$

Not to knock a fellow Mac user, but 1200 is a little expensive considering its an older gen macbook and the expensive battery needs to be replaced. I sold mine which had the exact same specs for 1000 with a excellent battery. just might want to take that into consideration. The era of Macs being impervious to depreciation is ending lol.

lol well thanks, i havent really done any research on what theyre selling for i just remember it was $2400 BNIB so i cut it in half seeing as how its been out for a bit.

i think the battery is close to 150 to replace.. im selling this because i just payed 768$ to replace the screen through mac's service people because my ex room mate shot it with an airsoft gun.

still got the receipt for the repair if that means anything

And YOU had to pay the $768? Why didn't your roomie that shot it?

Not to mention paying money to keep something stock should be factored in when you are trying to sell something.

well i payed for it because the room mate that shot it jetted out of town about 2 weeks after the incident which was the beginning of summer. in any respects, 400$ for a pro is super cheap, im surprised ur havin a hard time selling it.

ill drop it to 950 since the battery is dead, but ive seen locally (craigslist) same spec laptops being sold for 900-1300

its in perfect aesthetic condition except for the fact that i added 3 stickers to it. i wasnt attempting to sell it really so i didnt think pictures would help, i was just gauging interest.
