Gentex aftermarket rearview mirror fitment?

curious if anyone has one in their 240. How's fitment compared to stock and is the quality good? I'm looking at getting the basic model with the built in compass and auto dimming feature.

yes sir. i have the 340mm i think, that or the 320mm. either way its one of the largest they have. the convex mirror takes some time to get used to because it feels like your on acid while driving(the cars all look so small and odd) but once you get used to it you have ABSOLUTLY no blind spots. it seriously makes me uncomfortable driving without it now

broadway mirrors come in clear and blueish tint, to dim out the bright lights at night especially people with hid's that are in no way pointing the direction headlights should... and for cars with tinted windows (i dont remember which one is for what use, sorry that's just what i read on the package info...)

I have a Broadway mirror as well, and refuse to drive a car without one.

Yeah, on most old cars, a broadway is better.

Unless the car comes stock with a nice mirror.

I don't get how some people have rear mirrors that are the cream of the crop then slap a broadway on it.

I really like my Long Acre mirror. 17" convex. Its same as what nascar uses. Not as crazy looking as a wink setup which I decided against.

these are really clean looking. this would make a great replacement for my hatch mirror. is anybody else's rearview turning all black and crackly around the edges of the mirror?
i was thinking about getting a wink mirror but this is a lot cleaner looking. awesome. done deal.

I use to love mine too, great conversation starter with the girlie's (omg its soo big), and i never had to look back or to the side. But i couldn't stand being on the freeway at night i could never see shit because every car on the road would fucking blind me. So i threw away that wonderful piece of shit :(

if you want to replace your busted ass mirror with an autodimming one with a compass in it, i really don't see what's stopping you, regardless of the car you drive.

I have a pretty standard, beat to death s13.

It doesn't really need a compass, and I can still see through my mirror.

I just don't need that. Maybe someday I'll have a cool car with nice stuff.
