For sale is a Asia/Japan/Hong Kong Spec PS3
It's white unlike all the ones you see here that are black

1x White PS3 Console with 40GB Hard Drive
1x Black Wireless Controller (I can include the USB cable)
1x HDMI Cable

It is working 100% No problem with it at all!!!

Asking: throw me any reasonable offer (just testing water right now...i will sell if the price is right...)

I know regular PS3 goes for like $300 all day long on craigslist...

dang i went to take my gf's lil bro to go buy an hdmi cable to go from laptop to HD Tv and we were looking for cheap ones we first went to radioshack and they were $30 to $60 depending on brand and length and i was like nah fuck that were going to walmart and we just found a cheaper cable that wasnt HDMI but worked just as fine and did its job lol for $15

i dunno about the ps3 but if it's japanese it will probably play ALL games but only japanese movies.. thats how my japanese psp is anyway. Easy to test though just try one.

My friend has one of these, and he can play whatever he wants, in fact I was over there playing SF HDR.

There's a game called TRASH PANIC that is pretty fun too.

Don't forget Fat Princess... I haven't even played that yet!

i believe so, just its in Japanese, the X and O button is different, and its White in color

AFAIK, its region-less, and you dont need an power converter to plug it in as well...all PS3s are 110V to 240V

My buddy Steve has one and he mention that it was PAL, which meant that it did not play American media. Not sure if yours is any different or not.

There is the stock gloss black, the Asian market white, and there was a matte black ps3 that came in a bundle from Konami with the launch of Metal Gear Solid 4, and another bundled with the Final Fantasy Advent Children Bluray for the Asian markets.

If you plan on playing just Playstation 3 games and Bluray movies on this, its not a bad price.

i think the PS3 supports both PAL and NTSC, because I have a xbox from Australia with the PAL output, it wont play on the stupid TV

The PAL won't correctly show on your TV because it is refreshing at a slower rate than the TV. Think of it as the new age vertical sync issues or when you see the flicker of a computer monitor on a TV program.

PAL displays a picture at 25 frames per second with 625 lines. NTSC refreshes at 29.97 frames per second with only 525 lines. Also, NTSC and PAL consoles run on different voltages. So not only does the console receive a different amount of power depending on which one you have, but the games are made to fit the amount of power that is going into the system.

If you want to use a PAL system in the US, you need to use a converter. Im sure monoprice or newegg has them for relatively cheap.
