noob airbag question

did the s13 ever come w/ optional airbags? you know how parents are:rolleyes:

In the USA, no.

kouki 180SXs have them in Japan. the system can't really be retrofit. too many little sensors, too many wires.

If you want an airbag, save up, get an S14.

its not me theyre worried about...its the bitch in her excursion driving at 60 while she puts on makeup, talks on the phone, eats, and looks for the cd she just dropped while driving. thanks for the info and the help (looks like it took some time) but im arguing against an accident reconstructionist who has become traumatized of accidents, and who also happens to be the only person more hardheaded than myself. ill just wait

IMO Air Bags do as much harm as good if not more harm than good S13's have very high crash ratings also

If you doubt the danger of airbags get one out of a car lay it on its face wire it and give it some juice from a battery they shoot way the hell into the air with a great amount of speed now take that image you just created and picture the damn thing coming at your face

P.S. If you are actually going to try this use a really big open area and at least 75-100' of wire to get far enough away
