electrical problem please help!

ok so i just bought an s13 and i dont like the taillight that were on it so i pulled the bulbs out and was just looking at what i needed to do to install new ones, than when i turned the running lights on such as the headlights and the tail lights for night driving only the right tail lights turned on but both worked when i pressed on the breaks than i tried to take the bulbs out an put new ones in and then it got worse the right side went out and now both are off when im not stepping on the breaks and to top it all off the lights in the speedomoter and everything all only turned on when i steped on the breaks???? whats going on??? has anyone had this happen??? please help:dead:

I don't really know what you asking here...You don't like the light bulbs, so you decided to change them, and now its messed up?

And its called BRAKES, not breaks. please explain further.
